Northlands installing newt fence Northlands are currently installing a great crested newt fence at Avondale landfill site, Falkirk, Scotland. The previous newt fence that was installed on this site captured over 100 newts, and was deemed a great success by the ecologists from AMEC Earth and Environmental(Edinburgh Branch).
